"Questions"
Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?
How?
This is how you get information
But who knows
These may become your answers
To life's little games
Whose to say who knows
Where this path of questions may take you
But I know one thing
It's not just outside your door
It's above the hills
Over the mountains
Across the deserts
Along the streams
Far away where everyone goes
To seek their fortunes
To reach their goals
Six questions are all you need
To find the person inside you and me

This is my first poem I am posting and I hope you like it.

"Why"
Why the lies?
Why the cries?
Why the pain I feel inside?
Why the tears?
Why the dread?
Why the worthless blood shed?
Why cause trouble?
Why make them suffer?
Why worry about he?
Why worry about she?
They have done nothing for me
Why the attitude?
Why the drama?
Why hit a woman?
Why curse a child
To the depths of the abyss this world holds
It's unwanted, unneeded, and unbearable
To live in a world
Where "why" is not a notion
It is a way of life

I wrote this to reflect my feelings of the world we live in today.

I created this deviant because I love the art on this site. However, I am not an artist. I am a writer. I write poetry. I thought that instead a posting drawings, I would post my poetry for all to see and I hope you like it. I will put them in weekly journals starting next week. Thanks.
